System Sales & Installation
Working in cooperation with the customer, the equipment dealer and the insurance company, Katahdin Fire Company will design and install the fire system that is right for you. With fire systems from Afex, Amerex, and Dafo to offer, we are confident we have the system that is right for your equipment and your application. Fire systems that are designed and installed to meet your needs do more than protect your equipment investment … they protect your business and your livelihood.
Scheduled Inspections & Maintenance
At Katahdin Fire Company we believe that a properly maintained fire suppression system is a key component in any equipment safety and maintenance program. Because of this, we offer scheduled inspections and maintenance on all major fire systems. Our program is designed to keep your fire system operating at peak performance. Each time we do an inspection on your system we perform a complete safety check and/or function test on all components. Contact us today for details.
Service Calls & Recharges
Our service personnel are able to respond to your requests for service and/or recharge in a timely manner. From our fully stocked service vehicles we are able to recharge and/or service fire systems from most manufacturers including Afex, Amerex, Ansul, Dafo, and Kidde. Our service area includes Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Upgrades & Retrofits
In some cases insurance companies or system manufacturers require older systems to be upgraded to a current version, or retrofitted to meet changed coverage requirements. When those requests are made, Katahdin Fire will work with you to see that this gets done whenever possible. In cases where we feel it would not be an economical choice to upgrade or retrofit we will give customers the option of replacing the system with a new one that meets all current standards, and may cost little more than the desired upgrade.
